Accuracy of Information I/We certify that all information provided in this mortgage application is accurate, complete, and true. I/We acknowledge that Dove Mortgages and its partners will rely on this information to assess my/our creditworthiness and suitability for mortgage financing.
Authorization to Collect Third-Party Information I/We authorize Dove Mortgages to conduct a comprehensive credit investigation. This includes obtaining credit reports from consumer reporting agencies (e.g., Equifax or TransUnion) and verifying employment, income, and asset details with relevant third parties. I/We hereby authorize such sources to release any required information to Dove Mortgages for these purposes.
Disclosure of Personal & Financial Data I/We understand and consent to the disclosure of my/our personal and financial information to:
- Prospective Lenders: To secure mortgage financing approvals.
- Mortgage Insurers: (e.g., CMHC, Sagen, Canada Guaranty) to determine eligibility for mortgage insurance.
- Service Providers: Organizations providing essential technological, administrative, or compliance support for this application.
- Regulatory Bodies: Including FSRA, as required for audit or legal compliance.

- Identifiers & Contact Info: Name, address, phone number, and SIN (used specifically for credit reporting and tax compliance).
- Financial Profiles: Income, assets, liabilities, bank statements, and credit history to assess mortgage eligibility.
- Technical & Geolocation Data: IP addresses and browser behavior collected via cookies to optimize our website performance and localized rate offerings.
- Verification Documentation: Government-issued ID and employment records required by FSRA for “Know Your Client” (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance.

5. Data Sharing & Disclosure We do not sell your data. We share information only on a “need-to-know” basis with:
- Lenders & Insurers: To secure mortgage approvals and default insurance.
- Service Providers: Third parties providing secure cloud storage, digital ID verification, or audit support.
- Regulatory Bodies: FSRA or other legal authorities when required by Ontario or Canadian law.

7. Data Retention & International Transfers In accordance with Ontario’s Mortgage Brokerages, Lenders and Administrators Act, we retain client files for a minimum of six years.
